Ezra Hales, Shadow Runner and now reluctant pickpocket, stumbles upon a spy operation dedicated to bringing his gang, The Nessford Mob, down. He finds himself wrapped up in lies and schemes of his gang, the spies and something ominous in the shadows. Ezra quickly realises that he must pick a side, and the wrong choice will mean death.
